Jack Kos – Simple Green Caddis Video

Figured some of you guys might be interested in seeing how I tie flies. First up’s a nice simple pattern – a green caddis.

Hope it’s of some help. Keen to hear any comments you guys have.

Dubbing out before ribbing makes for a more hairy and natural look – if you’re in to the hairy look!

    Hey Jack,
try not cutting the scud-back till after you have wound on the wire. 2 wraps will hold the S/B, wind the wire, pulling S/B tightish at the same time. Quicker & makes for a better finish.
Nice caddis ( now send me the wading boots… you know i need them Jack lol )

    • Hey Rob. Tried this and it definitely worked just as well, but didn’t notice any marked improvement. I’ll see what I can do about rigging the ballot haha.
